PLASTIC BANK NOTES WERE ON THE WAY

As from 2016 The Bank of England has confirmed that Banknotes will be printed on a thin flexible polmer, rather than the Cotton paper now in use.

The £5 note featuring Winston Churchill will be first, followed by a £10 note featuring Jane Austin.
